Located within a mile of the bustling centre of the city of Belfast and nestling under the shadow of the giant Harland and Wolff shipyard cranes, Ormeau Golf Club can truly be labelled “the course in the heart of the city”.

The nine hole course with an eighteen hole par of 68 has proved over the years to have been a test to the best golfers in the country. The course provides a challenge for both the low and high handicap golfer with good shots being rewarded and those that stray off line receiving due punishment.

Our fine restaurant is managed by award winning head chef Andrew Emery. Andrew and his dedicated team have been serving the members and visitors to Ormeau for over six years and put a great emphasis on customer service and satisfaction.

Steven Rourke (www.srgolf.co.uk) has been with Ormeau for a few years now and is firmly established as a first class teaching professional with a small but well stocked shop to meet the needs of the discerning club golfer.

Our 1st Class Greenkeeper Team

The condition of our course is often mentioned by golfers visiting from other clubs. Our greens are 1st Class, our fairways superb and I'm making this up as I go along here!
